PETE LARSON

After 10 years in the newspaper business, Pete Larson joined Bethany Press International in 1997 to represent the company to the Christian publishing industry. Having worked his way up to President/CEO, Pete acquired the company in 2014. During his 23 years in the industry, Pete has worked with many Christian publishers and ministries to produce their paperback books. However, his passion is not just about providing quality products, but also to see the message of Christ reach a world that so desperately needs it.

Cory Verner is the founder of ONE Audiobooks. He has been publishing and producing Christian audiobooks since 2003. He co-founded christianaudio and christianaudio.com in 2004 which sold its first audiobook as a download when the market was 90%+ cassettes.

Robin Erwin has spent the better part of the last 20 years connecting books to readers, beginning her career hand-selling print books at indie bookstores and progressing to establishing vast ebook distribution network serving a wide array of publishers in her current role as Digital Retail Sales Manager with Ingram Content Group. Robin loves the magic of digital and is always on the lookout for new leaps in publishing technology, staying ahead of the curve and ready to conquer what’s next.

Tyler Carey has worked in publishing and technology for over 20 years, with a background including work at Wolters-Kluwer and Harris Connect. His roles have included account management, sales, marketing, product development, social media management, and technology consulting. He is an experienced conference speaker, often presenting on the impact of technology on different industries, sharing strategies to adapt emerging technologies into more traditional organizations. In 2017, Tyler was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing the company’s sales, marketing, and business development efforts as well as the growing staff supporting those initiatives. Tyler joined Westchester in 2014 and is responsible for generating new revenue and strengthening the relationships with Westchester’s clients. Tyler’s technical expertise combined with his stellar people skills enable him to thoroughly understand his client’s objectives, helping them secure the best solution to meet their needs. Key Westchester partners supported by Tyler include American Society for Microbiology, Bloomsbury, Crooked Lane, The MIT Press, Twelve Tables Press, and Brookings Institution Press.

Kathy has spent over 23 years of her career working in the Book & Bible Publishing and Manufacturing industry. Currently, she has sales responsibility for LSC Communications in its role as a provider of supply chain services to the Religious Publishing Market. LSC Communications is the largest book manufacturer and distributor in North America, and along with its international partnership with RRD Asia, is a global leader in book supply chain management and content management in new and traditional media.

SEKO Logistics appointed James Gagne as President effective 1 January 2017 and Chief Executive Officer effective 1 January 2018. Mr. Gagne joined SEKO Logistics in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer – Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.  He has spent the last 22 years of his career in Asia, also holding executive positions with Agility, Schenker/BAX and Maersk.  James is based at SEKO Logistics’ global headquarters in Chicago.  Mr. Gagne received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1994.  He is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese and has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization since 2011.  James is married with one daughter.

Zondervan III is the Corporate Director of Operations/ Transportation/ Logistics for HarperCollins Publishers.Bud has spent over 43 years of his career managing printing, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and logistics for HarperCollins Publishers, both domestic and international.

Perry has 30 years’ experience working in the book industry serving in various roles within operations, sales, business development, offshore development, distribution and sales management.  Currently, Perry is responsible for sales and development of LSC’s Book Fulfillment Services platform which services the Religious publishing market.  LSC Communications is the largest book manufacturer and distributor in North America, and along with its international partnership with RRD Asia, is a global leader in book supply chain management and content management in new and traditional media.
